The more you are specific, the better we can help. If you posted up the full code of your viewController, we might even be able to point you in the right direction. Console output with NSLog to know what gets called and when is even better. Look, I implemented a timer that updates on screen with minutes:seconds and it gets reset properly when I invalidate it (take a peek at the screenshot).Ī screenshot like this goes a long way. What makes you think that ? Once you invalidate a timer, it's done and gone. Invalidating my Timer only pauses it, even = nil or releasing it, my Timer just continues where it left. The only thing that I'm missing is to restart the Timer (or use another one). If you want your employees to stop a fight, hire an armed guard. They are hired to flip burgers, not stop violence. I didn't watch the whole video, but from what I watched, they were standing around and laughing.Īgain, they should call the cops and NOT get involved. What would we have them do? They didn't have time to do anything? According to the report: "These employees can be heard on the video shouting words of encouragement to the attackers." Sounds like they had more then enough time to figure out what was going on and acted on it. When did we become so bloody apathetic and wimpy that were afraid of breaking up a fight between a group of girls. ![]() And I wouldn't have hesitated if it had been two 20 year olds. I've broke up a fight between 14 and 15 years old siblings while I was teaching a ski lesson. If people started fighting in my place of work i would absolutely get involved, probably starting with dumping a bucket of mop water over them. Your damn right I do, I've kicked people out of stores before for being rude to employees, shouting at each other, behaving inappropriately and refusing to respond to reasonable requests.
